alexander is a very good linemen when he is not injured hot carl. think back to 07 before he got hurt, he was a active force on the line.

But Alexander didn't play his fifth year injury free. He sat out a couple of games due to injury.

It's as injury-free as he's ever been or will be. He's not going to help his draft status by being 24 instead of 23 when he gets drafted.

that's fine. It is my logic

I absolutely agreed 3 years ago. I was probably the first poster to really pimp CA on here. I thought he was going to be a difference-maker in '06. But in '09, I think we're better off with younger guys in there.

you might be right, but i pimped alexander right along side you, prior to both the 06 and 07 seasons. in 06 and 07 he allowed dorsey to roam around an headhunt. no mather what anyone says, glen was a more dominent force with alexander than without him.

I started this thread because i was going through the recruiting classes for the past several years and noticed that he was like the number 2 or 3 DT in the nation that year, but never remember him playing. Now with alexander i think the more depth the better at that position. Everones concern (even mine) is the defensive line next year, but it looks like it might be up to modern lsu standards after all!!!

woods
nevis
alexander
argahare
davenport
hicks
rahim alem
corley
levingston
chase clement
montgomery
downs
aubrey

I know i am missing some DE's but that is pretty impressive.

I had class with Kentravis when he first got here. Good dude, been waiting to see him on the field. The one from that class I'd really like to see get some PT is Shomari Clemens, he was in the same class and an even better dude.

Someone posted above that Davenport might make an impact next year. Davenport played in 4 high school games in Class 2A last year. Coming off a knee injury. Do not expect him to contribute much for at least another year.
