That's what we get when we sit at p/cs in our homes or offices all brave and puffed while we insult coaches, players, and anyone else who doesn't think like we do.
I often wonder what would said if some of the bold, opinionated types on a sports forum actually had a face to face chat with one they are so quick to call out/insult/attack here.

exactly. they don't know what they are talking about. they get on here and spew some bull shite they heard troy aikman say during an nfl game about the qb position. like when people on here say jj doesn't go through his progressions. there is no way for anybody on this board to know if he does or doesn't go through his progressions. first, we don't know the play called. second, we don't know the first read. third, we can't see jj's eyes. we don't know what his reads were. so yeah tlee can't deal with jj's stats. he was the third or fourth best qb in the sec this past season. jj haters wanna ignore that he basically put up the same numbers as flynn did when we won the nc. they want to ignore that jj was 38th in passing eff. they want to ignore that jj only took about 8 or 10 more sacks than flynn. they want to ignore that last year was the worst running game lsu has had in 5 years. they want to ignore that last years o- line was the worst line we've had in recent memory. all that and jj still led us to 9 wins. they want to ignore that last year was jj's first year starting in a defensive conference. so let them hate that jj is our qb. the only fans(loosely) that think jj sucks is lsu fans

how exactly am I bashing JJ?
As I told you earlier I guess we just dont agree on what's considered bashing.
If you think about it, there are many on this board that agree with me and many that agree with you... its actually a pretty good debate.
DO you think this is the first time this question has been asked?
ONce again though,,. the two most common responses to anyone who doesnt believe there has been much improvement is
A)you are retarded
or
B) you are racist.
Sweet.

you guys need to accept one little fact.
Just b/c someone that posts here doesnt believe JJ improved over the course of last season donesnt automatically make them a "hater"..........geeees
I hope he does improve.. I just simply dont believe he is that good of a qb. Thats all.
I hope time proves me wrong.

is a full year not enough to make judgements these days?

quote:you wouldn't think this would happen with a coach with an O'line background
last years o- line was the worst line we've had in recent memory
quote:and probably would have won more if it wasn't for shoddy playcalling and game management....
jj still led us to 9 wins
What? this isn't a Less Miles thread??? sorry for the hijack then...

When you grow up a little bit you'll understand that no one should ever be judged by what they do for one year at 19 years old.

was in response to the guy saying there should be an open battle at the QB position this Spring and Fall. There should be, between Jefferson and Lee.... that's it.
So we should not have an open battle. That will do wonders to JJ's improvement!!!! It should be open if not only to make JJ work harder to get better.
Also, I believe we will be a 8-4 or 9-3 team with JJ, JL, or CG. so why not let the best one play. Whomever earns it in the spring and fall. If one is clearly better, he should not be on the bench.

Maybe in your personal life
but that has nothing to do with his onfield play
and can we finally drop the age argument?

I'll never be so happy to see a player turn 20.

I see that a HUGE percentage of JJ's completitons last season were passes made that you or I could and should complete.
Understand this is a figure of speech but if your going to give a fair assessment then do it with out the needless absurdity s. You just incite people calling you out. JJ has improved considerably. Is he where he needs to be, no. Will he be, remains the question. We had better hope so because he has too much game experience for JL or CG to catch up. Can't afford another learning curve.
