When he threw the deep balls, I noticed a funny "hitch" in his delivery. I wasn't looking for it and it looked awkward at best. His accuracy with the short throws, particularly the flares, was not good. He was lucky to have had only one pic. Finally when he received some pass rush pressure, I noticed he couldn't rush a throw. In fact that same hitch he showed on the long throws stood out. Miles needs to be worried.

He should throw to Dickson 85 percent of the time, imo.

Makes long throws unpredictable and slows the release of the ball. Watch it on replay !!

He doesn't have that distance eye. He needs to put the ball higher in the air for the receivers to run under it. If you watch the successful long ball completions, there is that high arch with the receiver running at the right speed to get under it. The defenders usually have their eye on the receiver until the last moments. This may or may not be teachable.

The throw in the first quarter to Randle did have a little more air under it. By the way, Randle should have caught it.

Ive noticed that to in all 3 games the nose of the ball is down, I need to watch the tape again to see his delivery but something is off about it

Omar Haugabrook had the damndest hitch I've ever seen and still did alright. Stop nitpicking. I'm a lot more worried about JJ's ability to go through his progressions than the way he throws a ball.
