I don;t think fricking idiots deserve a whole year suspension. I am certain there are degrees of fricking idiot-dom, and unless a whole lot of new stuff comes out, I wouldn't run his senior season for what he allegedly did.
2-4 games is enough.

Has anyone awarded Captain America a medal for his valiant rescue act yet?

I just find awful that it took yahoo sports & ESPN to interview shady's ownership and that the BRPD didn't do so. I really dont see any excuse for it at all.
This is what they claim, but why wouldn't they have gone to the police and told their side of the story when the police said they were investigating it? Shady's was protecting themselves. Furthermore, anything said to the press is worthless. It cannot be held against you like testimony to the police can. Falsifying information to the police is a crime.
If I had to put my money on it because how things played out, particularly with the Shady's crew, their lying out of their asses to try not to eff over LSU football and save their business. That is more likely than the cops refusing to talk to them.
That said, it still doesn't make Jefferson guilty, but the police aren't stupid, especially not in this high profile a case.

This surely will test Jefferson and i'm hoping/believe that he is innocent of what he's charged for.

There is ZERO chance the administration at LSU lets a student athlete facing felony charges play for the nationally televised football team.
Every time he was on tv, it would be mentioned in the same breath as LSU. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY the admin at LSU lets this occur, zero, none, nada, zilch.
Yall are delusional if you think so. Get over the fact the kid is done, please.

I hear ya, I won't hide it I'm a Jefferson support and wanted him to go out with a SEC title and a crystal ball in hand. But at this point all I want to do is win. I'm going to support Lee because he's stuck around thru all the bullshite that has happen in his 5 years at LSU.

Hey will see in the coming weeks. It has happened before, maybe not at LSU, but it has happened. The charges will probably be reduced.

there is NO WAY they let a potential felon on tv for one of their best advertising platforms.
ZERO percent chance.
