That was a good editorial, not an objective news report. It was admirably restrained given the level of arrogance and stupidity some of the members of this team have exhibited.

The points made were good points, and needed to be said. No one really cares what rantards think about it--the question is will the players buckle down for the good of their team?

If the players who are obeying the rules aren't leaning heavily on those who are breaking them, something is terribly wrong.

Oh yeah, the players were sitting around with baited breath waiting for Jacques to give them sage advice about how to live their lives.

It didn't need to be said. Not from him! Not a single player will read it. Jacques is a blow hard that feels that he has to give his opinion about everything LSU football.

He needs to go back to journalism school so he can figure out what the hell a reporter is supposed to do. If he wants to become an opinion writer, go the The Advocate.

I agree, i thought it was a good article and nothing out of line. Idk about the other reporting he's done, but that article was pretty representative of most of the lsu fans i know.

I don't think he really expected them to. It's an open letter addressed to the team to express his thoughts and feelings. Believe it or not, a lot of us Tiger fans feel the same way.

I'll betcha he already HAS gone to journalism school. I was unaware that sports reporters weren't allowed to voice an opinion regarding something that is a hot topic in their area of interest and expertise.

I'd wager that most of the negative comments regarding his column come from FANS of the football team rather than ALUMNI who actually attended and graduated from the Ole War Skule. These fans have, more than likely, only set foot on the LSU campus on a gameday, and have likely never seen the insides of a classroom in Allen Hall or ever searched the original manuscripts to be found in Hill Memorial Library. God KNOWS they haven't set foot inside one of the building housing a physics or engineering department.

Yeah, "Haters gonna hate." Now there's an intelligent and properly spoken sentence for ya.

There's a direct correlation between short attention span and stupidity
