re: is anybody really happy??

I'm happy as can be about this team. I have enjoyed every game. I am however very sick of hearing people whining about Jarrett Lee getting screwed over.

I sat through the Hallman years and I can assure you that the whining and bitching is at a much higher level now than it was then. Think about that....we are 13-0 and some fans are crying more than when the only team we could be assured of beating was Mississippi State.

I can't speak for the people here but most of the whiners don't really watch much football. Most that I know are parroting what they hear from others around them. This is more common with the women.

I think some of this crazy phenomenon is rooted in the LSU fans fear of failure. They don't trust Les and are scared shitless that we are gonna lose because of Jefferson. Others don't like Jefferson's past actions and demeanor and think Lee is a solid kid (I get this.) Others are simply redneck racists (I know a handful of these.) Your experiences may vary.

I say frick the whiners. I pull for LSU and they aren't gonna stop me from soaking in every game of this great season.
