Ron Brooks should do well in this role. He is used to coming off the bench. Now he gets his chance. Good for him. He has made some quality hits on ST the past couple of years.

Brooks believes the infamous "honey badger," cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, has helped put the Tigers in the right mindset to dominate future competition on their road to victory.

"Even though Tyrann is a younger player, he has a big heart and he is very wise in what he says," said Brooks. "He came to the team and talked to us about having a certain kind of mindset. You have to envision yourself making plays."

Brooks took Mathieu's advice to heart and saw it as something he needed to work on.

"I make sure I'm focused not only during the game but throughout the week as well," said Brooks. "I mentally prepare myself and see myself making plays."
