If I were the coach, I would do two things. I would not play Nuss this week at all. If we struggle, BK can talk about our AA QB playing injured in every game this year, and how important he is to our offense. It also gives VB a chance to play in a game that needs to be won, and get great experience in TS, that could prove valuable later on should Nuss get dinged or even severely injured.
Two pluses, Nuss is given an excuse for the play so far this year in the eyes of the AA / Heisman voters, MVB gets meaningful playing time and LSU goes to 4-0 , and actually has an excuse should we play like we did against LaTech.
Nuss should sit this one out!
