I wonder if Tressel talks about the time he faced Les as a case study.

So how can you say that his inability to articulate to your level of satisfaction gives him less margin for error? Apparently his team understands and believes in him!!!

I'm speaking in terms of perception of fans GB. All of a sudden everyone loves Les again, but because he's also made some bungling miscues and can't articulate to the masses why and what he was thinking...when he makes another they are less likely to give him a pass.

So he could use that as an example of why you have to have to prepare for and respect each opponent and coach, every time you face them, no matter what you've done in the past! I think Les fared pretty well against Tressel in 2007!

I have also been up and down concerning Miles in game tactics the past couple years. He has certainly had some issues with the game clock. However he has made some of the adjustments that fans have been screaming for...playing younger (potentially more talented) players instead of just going with upperclassmen is one example. He runs a clean program, pulls in top 5 recruiting classes consistently, and continues to win the majority of games played. I think he may even be undefeated against OOC opponents and 4-1 in bowl games! Like I said earlier, his team plays their asses off and respect him! So if he's articulate enough for the players to buy into what he's saying...it should be good enough for everyone else IMHO. So until LSU has a losing season and quits on coach Miles, I will support him from here on out! I can only speak for myself though..

I think Les would be a great teacher. Les is pretty intelligent. They just don't pass out ecnomics degrees at Michigan like they are candy

I support LSU and in that way I support the head coach.

He does have his strong points, I've never denied that.

The kids love him..he's a players coach. That brings good and bad and I think we've seen examples of both during his tenure.

I think he was taken advantage of in that regard in 2008 and 2009 by certain players and you saw that if you watched closely enough.

The return of Moffit and the addition of Gonzales and the fact that he has better kids have all helped in that regard.

His weaknesses will always be lack of organization and attention to detail so he has to surround himselves with guys like Fisher, Pellini, Chavis and Gonzales...guys who bring that kind of stuff.

If he can do that he can survive here despite the occassional unexcuseable incidents which are inevitable under Coach Miles IMHO.

No one in the class would understand what he was saying. The students would leave his class wondering what he just talked about for the last hour. They would have the same feeling that most fans have after his talk show.

I took an algebra class with a Russian instructor who could barely speak English. I suspect a class with Les would be very similar to that experience.
