Your official prediction is about as smart as ranking U(sic)GA as preseason #1.
Yes, we almost lost to Gardner Webb with a 3rd-string QB who didn't get many triple-option reps and isn't mobile. But, the kid did an AWESOME job taking care of the ball, keeping field position good for Tech and getting the W.
Once we were healthy at QB, the "great" run defenses of FSU, Miami, Clemson and Georgia got torched. Now, we are practicing the Run-n-Shoot portion of the offense which we haven't used much this year because we were perfecting the running game. IF we get some level of proficiency with the RnS, watch out folks. I'm hoping that this becomes an offensive practice for Tech in the 2nd quarter.
HOWEVER, LSU has some great athletes and will always be motivated to play. I expect this game to be close, something like 21-17. Have you guys hired a DC yet?

Will this game be on TV?
Heck yes....the only game on a major network that night. The chick-fil-a "peach" bowl is the 7th highest paying bowl out of 33 (gulp) bowl games.
7:30pm eastern on New Years Eve

everyone talks about us being so good against the run....but forgets that for the last 3 years we haven't been able to stop that fricking wildcat formation worth a shite.
Ark schooled us with it, and OM was successful as were UFs variations. All that offense is is a fancy version of old school option football, which is what GT runs. Our DEs have horrible dicipline against the option so unless that changes we're fricked IMHO.

I have a feeling the Les is going to spend a lot of time working on DE discipline. If they do that well, then the option keep and pitch will be shut down. Then, I'll be interested to see what Tech turns to. If that is successful, it should then open up the outside pitch game again. THEN, we will see how the DE's remember their discipline.
What do you guys run on offense? We haven't talked at all about LSU O vs. GT D.
