I forgot Mingo was a 4th year too.

Stats are not what get you high draft grades...mistake free football on film is. And Minter is having a great year, but there are 3-4 other guys at the same slot that are playing better, with a less talented d-line in front of them. Not taking away from Minter by any means...I just don't see him being drafted before mid-3rd if he comes out this year. But he reminds me of Demeco Ryans...he'll ball when he gets to the league regardless of when he comes out.

I don't expect Montgomery to be back. Frankly, I didn't know all that about Reid, but he is the least ready player to come out...pre-draft he will get picked apart by scouts. He takes bad angles on ball carriers and gets lost in coverages, still. He has the furthest to go of all of the high ranked underclassmen, but knowing that now...I bet he does go out.

You mean not your sentiment.

I'm not as disposed to a positive outlook as some on this very fine board. Not to say LSU will turn into a bad team in the near future, rather that we seem to be on a track to remain a perennial woulda-coulda-shoulda.

I used it as a bleaker version of 'there's always next year'.

No I meant wrong sentiment as in you were misquoting the generally accepted meaning and translation of Macbeth's famous soliloquy.

The tomorrow doesn't in any way refer to "bleaker version of no next years"

More than the feeling of hopelessness - it refers to the nihilism of his entire life and since it is totally useless, then perhaps what he has done is not so much as evil as it was also something useless.

A very powerful piece but as I mentioned it is not about pessimism or optimism.

The analogy for that piece would be if you felt that there is no point to LSU football at all and it is baseless to even talk about this loss or future games since they have no meaning at all.

Nobody cares about Shakespeare. Particularly not on a sports discussion board. Between that post (given its overly dire tone and placement in a football discussion is clearly hyperbole) and my others my meaning was clear. You proved you know all about Macbeth or can read wikipedia, congratulations. I'll be sure to keep all this in mind when Billy Madison-esque events send me back to 9th grade.

Obviously you do or you wouldn't have bothered posting it in the first place , would have ignored the reply ,further not continued with a second post about the meaning.

Just give it up. You obviously thought you were posting something profound and even now you are misusing phrases and words that have no relevancy to the context.

Dont go cwying when you are pwoven to be wwong!

This is all pretty appropriate since none of this means anything. It's an internet discussion forum about sports and you are taking Shakespeare at face value.
