If Saban Had Stayed At LSU

- a meltdown in 2005 after Katrina
-at least one more SEC title (2006)
-possible one more NC or a chance to play for one in 2006
- better performance by our players, better coaching, and better game management
- more respect nationally for our program
- fewer jokes about our coach being a clown
-tougher, more aggressive defense
- no 2008 defensive meltdown
- no hiring of Frick and Frack or the Wacky Wizard for coordinators
- more conservative offense (not necessarily good)
- an overall better looking, well coached, attention to detail, process oriented program that would be considered one of the nations elite

6 National Championships in the next 5 seasons. Maybe even a little better.

OK, now this was a great line, but at least our Fla. Ranter was actually answering the damn question for this thread:
"If Saban Had Stayed At LSU, What would our future be now?

Not "what would have happened had Saban not left LSU when he did for the NFL, but could've left any year after that to go anywhere?

I can't believe this has gone on for so long (and yes, me posting about it keeps it alive), but that's only 'cos the discussion long ago morphed into a different thread, and that's a good thing (no offense, Mr. Analyze That).

In 4 of 5 of Saban's years, LSU had 3 or more losses.
