Not really. He just wasn't throwing strikes. You can't intentionally stay away from a hitter when he is the winning run and there is a runner on first base.

When you play in a huge park during the dead bat era.

It was disgusting watching the pitcher leave fastballs hanging in the zone for our batters to crush and him be rewarded with an out. You know something needs to change when intentionally throwing high fast balls is not only a strategy, but an effective one.

Bottom of our line up with an under 200 hitter. He has to come out. We have defensive players. And good ole 7 needs to get back in the groove or he needs to sit and watch too. THIS IS FOR ALL THE MARBLES. Make changes!
