re: How long did Mack Brown coach at LSU under Stovall?

PS - My good friend played for mack brown at tulane and I was at the independence bowl with the family. we were at the team/family dinner the night before. Both teams attended it. News leaked that Mack took the NC job and my friends mom went ballistic on Mack right there at the dinner. She was screaming at him calling him a liar, scum, etc... My friend has just gotten there, was a sophomore I guess.
