Other than offseason workouts, what has provided him the platform to get so many rave coaching reviews?

If it's just the first few practices, then why was he so quiet before camp?

As a senior, the 5-foot-9, 205-pounder was the LSWA Class 4A Most Outstanding Player on Offense after he rushed for 1,370 yards and 19 touchdowns on 161 attempts, and completed 159 of 255 passes for 2,634 yards and 35 touchdowns with a mere three interceptions. I’d say 4,004 total yards of offense and 54 touchdowns is pretty impressive.

Does that help??

Magee has impressed anyone who has seen him live. Some guys are good enough to stand out that fast in camp. Tyrann Mathieu just did it last year.

Just because he was off the national radar doesn't mean shite. Think Mo Claiborne.

He's gonna show RS how to throw a pass from the wildcat.

TM was very impressive in his interview on 104.5 today. Says he's up to 218lbs and running 4.52

Here's the interview if you want to check it out

I was about to say "WTF, how and why is TM7 at 218 lbs!?"...

and then I got smart.

I see some attrition at the RB position in the next year

I think Magee and Hilliard are going to eventually work their way into the rotation with SW and MF and Blue will be the odd man out

Hope it doesn't happen though, we need as much depth as possible

Blue is not very good but he seems to be a Miles pet so you know he'll get too much PT.

Reports from practice called him one of the most physically imposing RBs..

He looked pretty good against Vandy/Moo St last year

Honestly? I feel like Gore is already the odd man out, when talking about the running game that was the only name miles didn't mention.

He looked great in the spring game.. but just like Trindon.. don't really consider him a RB. He's a WR who will get snaps at RB and the occasional sweep.

I don't think Blue will leave either, kid is a beast in his own right. I forgot which reporter said it but they said Blue is definitely pushing for the #2 RB job.

It's crazy that all of LSUs RBs are over 210lbs, except Gore, big AND fast
