Experience:

1. Overall stadium was about 70% full at kickoff and upper decks pretty empty as expected.

2. Relatively quiet as expected for Grambling but the student section needs to step up and provide at least some noise on defense at the beginning of the game. They were deafeningly quiet and probably just uninterested honestly.

3. DJ was awful and was only saved by DJ Jubilee being present. When they showed him on the screen the audio stopped working.

4. Didn’t have any issues with concessions other than prices which have obviously been out of control for years. Not just Tiger stadium.

5. The bomber flyover was awesome.

6. The PR girl with the shrill voice on the big screen to hype up the activities was equally awful.

7. Giant student section t shirt cannon was pretty cool just to watch.

Team/Game:

1. Overall Grambling outmatched obviously and we’re significantly undersized. Their WR’s were small and shifty which made for difficult tackling. Their quarterback always got the ball out quick.

2. Grambling’s left tackle #71 held severely on probably 80% of the snaps and they broke off some big runs to that side. Refs saw it but at a certain point evident they just aren’t going to call it.

3. Logan Diggs and Kaleb Jackson look really good in person. Quick, shifty, but have power.

4. Our WR’s looked good and just couldn’t be covered but drops drops drops. Lord have mercy.

5. Jayden threw it better but even on open throws he was off a little.

6. News flash: Nussmeier can spin it but I don’t take anything away from this game because receivers were open everywhere. The knock on him has been the interceptions and he didn’t have to run at all. I think we are in good hands next year though and he has tremendous upside.

7. Not much push from the D line but very bland play calling and no exotic looks. Perkins looks natural back at this previous position.

I’m sure there is plenty more so feel free to make your own. Overall not too much to take away from this game but glad to see them handle business and gets some reps in.

I guess I'm different. When I give less than zero fricks about something, I wouldn't even bother to open the thread.

This is a board where we come to give opinions on things. You have the right to not like my observations or opinion, and then also give your shitty observations and opinion as well. Cheers!

Agreed. I hope we don’t see either again.
