Great suggestion. Go saltwater fishing. Can't see how the could possible go wrong.
If I were you I would try something like Memphis. I hear it's a cool town. It's gonna be chaos down here. It sucks for y'all because this would have been a great trip to catch a football game and see New Orleans.

Southern Decadence Butt Pirates from all over the country converging with Appalachian State Hillbilly fans in town for the LSU game. What a mix in the French Quarter on the same weekend. Probably hear a lot "Show me that purty mouth" and "Squeal like a Pig".....
