I have the SI commemorative editions of both the 2003 and 2007 championships, which came out a couple of weeks later. I’m thinking that may be the plan this time as well. Hopefully that will be considered as the cover.

Just talked to SI. The Jan/Feb 2020 issue will be coming out the 1st week of Feb. As of today, the cover has NOT been decided upon
