I completely understand the animosity towards the idea of a potential rematch because we would be saying the same things if the roles were reversed. I do have to disagree with a previous post that LSU would have been excluded if we would have won. The idea was already being bantered about before the game that LSU would have a very strong case for a rematch if it was a close game. I sincerely am against the idea of a rematch in general; however, in my opinion lsu and alabama are so significantly better than anyone else that it was unavoidable this year. Good luck this week

True That !!!!!
If there was a play off system in CFB. I think they would meet in the end.

You shouldnt play for something you didn't earn.sorry bud that the media has pumped sunshine up your arse even before the season started.but you don't deserve to be in that game.that simple!

I think that there will be a rematch because everyone in the country knows that LSU and BAMA are CLEARLY the 2 best teams in the nation

Just like everyone knew who the two best teams were in 2006 after they played each other?

The "eye" test is BS. Sure Bama looks real good. But they still need to earn it on the field, and they havent.

There is no way to know either way. However, I think most people contend (just conjecture) that had Alabama beaten LSU in Tiger Stadium 9-6 in overtime, they would not have been afforded the mulligan, not so much about this year. It's the principle.
