Any fan of even average intelligence could fairly easily grasp a college playbook given time and an explanation of nomenclature. It's only confusing at first because it is alien. I assure you that the teenagers with 820 SAT scores who typically play "big time college football" are not rare prodigies.

Neither are they expected to absorb the entire playbook
