Finding/Developing A Championship QB
Ask Les Miles this question because he is the one that is responsible since this is his program and 11 years in.

We shouldn't be looking only in state at QB's. Hell if you look at the 03 team, didn't we field something like 6 or 7 QB's on the field at different positions. As said before, QB's are the best athlete's on the field traditionally, what is wrong with trying to convert them to WR or DB's. Then we hit up TX and be like hey brah, can we have one of those guys?

Though this has been discussed ad nauseam, in my opinion, it seems that most high school head coach's priorities lie in winning football games, not preparing QB's for play at the next level. For example, wasn't Diarse a state-title winning QB at Neville (if I remember correctly)? The best athletes are placed at QB and are asked to make plays. If they can outrun defenses while scrambling, then passer skills take a backseat. There are many schools that run wing-t, double tight/double wing, veer, triple option, and flex-bone offenses, just to name a few. If they can rush for 400 yards, then 50-60 yards passing is just lagniappe. Point being, not much emphasis on reading defenses, pocket awareness, and back shoulder throws.
This has been the way of H.S. football in La., and pretty much explains the lack of QB development.

He is the best QB to come out of LA in years.
Thing is, he is a transplant QB. Louisiana still doesn't produce top notch QBs at a quick enough rate.
I also like Cole Kelley who is a long time Louisiana QB. I'd like to pull in Franks (similar to Jamies Winston), Kelley (similar to 2015 recruit Zach Gentry), and Patterson (similar to JT Barrett).

Wont matter we have no one to coach him!
I disagree with this 100%. Cam is the first QB coach we've had since Jimbo. You can blame Miles for neglecting the position and being a terrible evaluator of QB talent, but Cam knows what he is doing. Give Harris some time. He was only a true freshman and has played QB a grand total of 2 years before coming here.
Patterson is also way more polished and would just need to learn the system mostly and refine his techniques.

2015 will be decisive on this matter. No fuzz on the apple. Either he develops and manages our QB's, or His name drops really low in this regard. Hope he shows us all some magic, as that would be good all around.
