ESPN Midseason Awards

ESPN in their annual Midseason Awards named LSU their "favorite team to watch this season" and named Joe Burrow the midseason Heisman and O'Brien Award winner. Also of note is that Tulane has been getting shown some love. They were named ESPN's 4th favorite team to watch this season. Intereting that Bama's two CBs were collectively given the Midseason Thorpe award. I hadn't watched them much this season but the consensus on this board seemed to be that Pat Surtsin wasn't having a good year and was overrated. This acclaim being given to Surtain and Trevon Diggs makes the 11/9 matchup with this extremely talented LSU receiving core even more interesting.
