Difference this year between LSU and Bama

The difference between LSU and Bama, O-line and Quarterback play. When you have a quarterback that can play as well as Mcelroy and an O line that knocks the defense off the ball each play the difference in execution would be like night and day for us.

Let's not get crazy. He's been slightly better than mediocre most of the year. Alabama is literally running it right down Florida's throat. That makes a QBs job much, much easier. He is playing well today though.

this is ALL Oline/ DLINE..... and thats what we lack...... those lines are dictating the game, the QB is just managing the game well.....

Yes.
Alabama has the best rushing offense and one of the best defenses in the country. They have carried the team all year. McElroy is playing well today, but has been subpar for most of the year.
McElroy has never had to win a game for this team. Jefferson has to win every game for LSU. Their roles are completely different.

My point was if you have a quarterback who can manage the game better, and execute better it makes the whole offense look different. But more important than that if you have an Oline who knocks the opponent five yards off the line of scrimmage each down, almost anything you call will work. The running game will execute better.

Perhaps. JJ a better runner, but JJ's poise is pathetic. JJ has yet to sniff a 300 yard game. He is still being coddled with short passes.
