Crowton on Ridley

The following week, LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson said the decision to not give Ridley the ball was in part because of offensive coordinator Gary Crowton not being familiar with what Ridley could do in certain situations.
Folks, here's two of the main problems I see with the LSU offense.
First, how in the hell can Crowton not know what Ridley is capable of doing? The kid's been in the system since Crowton arrived. Does the guy sleep through practice? Do the RBs not practice catching the football and running routes? Does he not talk to the RB coach? WTH?
And, second, Crowton has this notion that only certain players can do certain things, thus he substitutes for situations making it easier for defenses to know what's coming. Why can't he just leave a RB in for a series, regardless of the situation and call plays based upon the personnel on the field? Obviously there are some exceptions, but he seems to substitute on every damn play.
Thoughts?

Crowton = unemployed after the bowl game.

Could you say this about any other offensive coordinator?

What does this even mean?
Ridley is a RB. I'd assume that if Crowton were to call a running play he would understand that Ridley could AT LEAST run with the football.

We have personnel formations that bring with them ONE PLAY and ONE PLAY ONLY....
if we can figure it out from the TV,
...we know other coordinators can see it also.

And to think, last year we had Crowton and Malveto roaming the sidelines at the same time.

Isn't it odd that when LSU does something to improve itself some people get pissed off?

I could not agree with this anymore. It is so damn tranparent what we are gonig to do based on the personnel he brings in. ALso, no wonder these players (Shepard) only know a few different plays and line up in the wrong spot.

Apparently there are certain situations where Crowton has no idea what Ridley can do. Which is not a good sign. Is Crowton at practice? If so, are they getting all they can out of Ridley, or just using him for only a certain type of play?

This is a shame, but strangely enough, I'm not surprised.
