Well I was fine with some piped in pregame, they played some 80s stuff (funky and fun), Fresh Prince (just awesome) then Miley and then people sang along, part of my soul died that day ...

different taste for different people... I'm sure a lot of people didn't like 80's music, just devil's advocate in this

im not a student anymore but i have ss tix, no need to explain how i get them but ive been sitting there for 10 + years...i cant sit in any other section except for the north endzone. i love to hear the band and enjoy the cazy people around me. at every game i tell the people behind me pre-game that i will be standing the entire game. if they dont like it oh well..its an unwritten rule. i thought i was the only one who noticed a "softer" ss, but i guess not..its sad to think that times are changing, young people arent as excited to be at the game. 5yrs ago and beyound it meant something, it was all go, no rules, just all out craziness. now it seems like a social event, who's going, whats so and so wearing, hope she doesnt have the same dress on, i really hope the band plays guns n roses in the 4th qrt...its weak!! now the rest of the crowd is calling out the ss?? boy the times have changed. as for as the beach balls, i thought it was funny when someone broke out like 45 balls at the bamma game last year ( i dont care if the pope was on the 50 giving a speech) i love it when the crowd yells "you suck" during oh wee oh, i like seeing students falling over people sitting along the isle in the north ez...its LSU football, its tiger stadium, its 93000 of your closest friends remember? so what if one drunk moron loses track and doesnt see the injury timeout and tosses a ball in the air (im sure it didnt even last that long before the usher got anyway). worry about your section, and why there still sitting 10 mins after the injury, worry about why you and the rest of your section will still have there voice on sunday. stop crying and complaining about what the crazys are doing, and if there not doing enough go sit in the section and get stupid ( thats what i do ) or how about voicing your opinion outside the ss gate before they go in...dont come and complain on the board so a handfull of students can see it. maybe we start a get stupid, retarded, silly livered at the next game thread?? untill then, you want change start with your section at the game and maybe people will follow..

It makes me sick. I wait outside of the stadium 3 hours before the gates open so I can get a good view.
