LF having more experience can only be a positive for the offense as well. Kid will probably have a breakout year in 2015.

Say what you want about LSU'S offense, there have been numerous games where the offense has scored enough to win the game and all the defense has to do is get ONE stop and they didnt.
Your offense cant score when they arent on the field.

While this is true, its a fact that Chavis' defenses have benefited wildy by the style off offense we run. When you break down Chavis' defenses to yards per play and points per play, they dont look near as good as our ddefensive total rankings.
