as our 3rd best receiver his 55 was 1 more than Florida's best (Pitts at 54) and 6 more than UGAs (Pickens at 49). he was only 4 behind Auburns (Williams at 59).

he also would have led LSU last year (Jefferson had 54).

maybe next years offense doesnt rely on this as much, but last year doesnt work without CEH in the pass game, he really does have tremendous hands, and this might be the one area where we have no reasonable replacement lined up (at least in terms of experience).

Curry had 3 catches, Emery had 6, and TDP had 10.

not saying its bad, very obviously the O is gonna be pretty different, but we cant do what we did this year without this option.

Chase ended the season with 20 receiving TDs. Exclude LSU and only 4 SEC teams have more the 20 total passing TDs.

Fabulous season - fun player to watch. My wife, big Cowboys fan, says he reminds her of Emmitt Smith - even the same number.

I did not realize he had 50 receptions during the season. He was always there when Burrow couldn't find an open receiver downfield.

Worth mentioning past running backs who were great receivers. In 1985 Garry James had 50 receptions and teammate Dalton Hilliard had 34.
