Right. That time slot was made w/ LSU in mind

LSU fans are just spoiled. Between CBS and ESPN, it's kinda like LSU has had its own "Game of the Week" deal for the last few years (certainly 2007 & 2008). Just think of all those schools who rarely get a nationally televised game.

well lee i dont live close to BR so im not going to leave my house sat. morning at 7AM to get to BR around 10 and basically walk to the stadium with little or no tailgatin. This is why i like the 7pm games and hopefully either espn will have us and OLe miss playing at 7 or not be televised and play at 7. I also have a friend who is a big mich. state fan and the 1st and only LSU game he was able to go to he said he wasnt too impressed but he got their just in time for kickoff and didnt do any tailgatin so he said the whole aprty atmosphere was no different than going to a mich state game. Me personally i dont like those comparisons but either way

Exactly, if LSU fans know that the game is going to be at 2:30, then plan ahead. LSU fans shoudn't be less rowdy at 2:30, rather than at 7. In fact, they should be even more rowdy or just as rowdy. But since some of you are using that excuse, wake your arse up at 5:30 a.m. and start hitting it. Since it takes alcohol for some of you to get rowdy...start drinking earlier and you will be prepared for the dreaded 2:30 p.m. game.

Less rowdy...that's just stupid. Tons of teams play most of their games during the day and they win...i.e. Texas. I don't hear them bitching when they have to play at night.

If you are going to use the night vs. day game excuse; then say "I would rather LSU play at night b/c it's tradition" or "I like the night game better." I would be fine with that.
