You dumbass.

2011 13.5 TFL, 9 sacks
2012 13.0 TFL, 8 sacks

Dude faced double teams a lot. If people stop having selective memory, they'd know that he crashed his side of the line a lot and allowed LBs like Barrow, Minter, to make a play or Mingo.

Mingo was the one who drastically dropped in production. Went from 15 TFL, 8 sacks, to 8.5 TFL 4.5 sacks. Sam said he didn't go all out on weaker opponents, not Bama, UF, TAMU, etc.

This is just crazy, the dude HIMSELF out of HIS OWN mouth said he was lazy!

Link? Are referring to his NFL interviews where he said there were times against lesser opponents where he would take plays off? If so, you've made quite the leap.

Nope.

I know I complain sometimes when sh*t doesn't go right in the heat of the moment, but this sh*t is getting out of hand. The Rant needs to be closed until after the football team's won 11+ plus games.

WhereTF are you people from the last couple of weeks coming from? Chavis, CLM, CJJ BB, now Brick? Brick has earned and is earning his paycheck and then some. You're naming folks starting in the NFL right now, even rookies.

One thing he can't do is coach effort.

There's an old trick that journalists use called "quoting" someone. They can do it either in the printed word, or on video or audio platforms. It's a great way to get information to the masses!

Against shitty teams. We really could have used his full effort against Idaho

It's a very weak point and I'm still not totally sure what you're trying to get at overall. There's no skewing his quotes. He said he played harder against teams where we actually needed him to and put forth less effort against the North Texases and Idahoes and the like. Which is what probably 90% of the team does, just none of them are dumb enough to admit it to NFL scouts.

He led the team in sacks 2 years in a row and was straight-up awesome for us on 1 good knee. Just stop, whatever shitty point it is that you're trying to make.

I don't believe Sam Montgomery is the norm.

Mingo has been quite successful

He got drafted into a real dumpster fire. They tried to turn him into a 3-4 backer. Why? Beacuse, Texans.

Then they cut him for something that seemed to be drug related (weed, not real drugs) and he proceeded to pass a drug test like a few days later. At least, I think that's how I remember it going down.

I think Sam can still be succesfull if put in the right place. He's a prototypical 4-3 end, and I think given the right structure and makeup of a team he can be a solid contributer for someone. He always seemed like a good guy, and I hope the best for him.

What don't I comprehend? You said that Sam, talking about himself, said he was lazy. I linked you an article with his direct quote which says something very different from "I'm lazy". To which you replied something along the lines of "Yea that link verifies wheres hes at right now in the NFL!", which is an extremely ambiguous and shittily-worded "sentence" that defies explanation. Pretty sure you're the one that is having trouble here. I think this discussion, for lack of a better term, has run its course.

Let me help you here, I don't care who you are when you take plays off in any game(and he did in others that he didn't name)it really shows your character and what type of player you are which indicates where hes at now in his professional career. Do you comprehend that?
