Folks seems to be worried that CEH and LF27 are gonna be the prime RB's for the season.

Yet, the ball protection and pass protection emphasis worked well enough to get a tough road win against a gritty top-10 team.

No fumbles. Several key pass block pickups to give Burrow time, with help on the critical 3rd and 17. (Don't need to be told they were imperfect in the road game)

So, here we are...Ranked #4...

with a modern offense, and on the back end of the first of 3 sets of 4-games in the 2019 regular season... with a winning formula against the toughest of the first 4 behind us.

Now, NWSt and Vandy offer both an easy opportunity (NWSt) and an SEC road game that will give its own brand of a test/opportunity (Vandy).

What to expect?

Lots of "the other 3", with some combo of Curry, Davis-Price (DP3) and Emery (JE4)...to compliment CEH, and less of LF27.

As the next 2 games arrive, these 3 will have been told and coached to know exactly what they need to do to increase their playing time...

Ball protection and blocking assignments.

I expect them to learn and perform well...

Then the first off-week after the first 3rd of the schedule...

..and then Utah State at home...

Before Florida at home, Miss St on the road, and the Barn at home....

Then another off week, before heading to you know where.

It sets up perfect

Curry, DP3 & especially JE4 are going to emerge.

And when they do,Coach O and the staff will have developed the perfect incremental plan to get them learning opportunities and valuable experience.

I expect One of them (I hope it's Emery since he is the most electric/explosive) to have earned the trust of the staff.

And by the Florida game, expect it to be CEH + JE4...and the others to be compliment/situational backs...

With Burrow and the receivers..

It is a great plan, and it's gonna be great to see unfold.

So...trust the plan and exercise some big picture patience.

Cause...We Comin'...and our 5 RB's ain't backing down

Geaux Tigers

Totally agree!! It's a marathon, not a sprint. Those guys are inexperienced no matter how good they are as runners. Trust the process, their time is coming!

Seems legit. Have an upvote.

Also, add in the (totally new to us) concept of blowing out lesser opponents, thereby allowing the young soon-to-be-studs to get plenty of reps, and your formula may well play out just as you've envisioned.
