He should have left Workman in. He was cruisin, had us shut down except for 1 run.

Thought he pulled him too quick as well but glad he did.

I was glad he pulled him. Also, how many pitches was Ruffin good far? I would have thrown him next.

Saw the headline of this post and thought Augie got another DUI.

Workman was done. We would have scored more runs if Augie would have left him in, if he would have lasted. He was getting hit hard and was having trouble throwing the ball in the zone. You think you know their players better than Augie? How many NC have you won?? Probably the same people who criticize Miles and what he has done.

He was running out of gas, wouldn't have made a difference.

Augie's got a short leash on his pitchers. He pulled Ruffin too early Mon., and Workman tonight. I was ecstatic to see him pull Workman.

He walked Mitchell on 8 pitches, and had Mahtook 0-2, before he threw a couple of balls, a couple of fouls, and Mahtook doubled. That was just a great at-bat by Mikey. Workman was cruisin.

Augie's mistake was believing in the myth of the awesome power of his bullpen.

They were advertised to be the best in all of division one baseball.

LSU's bullpen outpitched them in both game one and game three. IMO the only reason UT won game two was because LSU never got a chance at their relievers.
