Crowton/Hatch reminds me of Franklin/Todd at Auburn.

Everyone keeps talking about Lee's "strong arm" and Hatch's weak one but why do we have to throw 50 or 60 yard bombs to win? I'll take a QB that can consistently throw the 10,15 or 20 yard pass! Lee throws behind receivers and high. Even if the receiver catches the ball he won't usually get to run for many yards after the catch because the other team's defense is too fast. Hatch hits the receivers in-stride and gives them a run opportunity. It seems like Crowton is only calling the option when Hatch is in but I think if he gave him more short pass opportunities he would do very well. We don't need bombs we need 10 yards for a first down!!
