People really look deeper inside the Bama QB situation than they need to. Look, JPW threw 9 TDs this year. Nine. That's less than Jarrett Lee threw, yet Bama went 12-1 with an extremely young core of players (they had 9 scholarship seniors, as well).
McElroy will start for Bama, and he is not a young guy. I believe he's a (RS)Jr. and a carbon copy of JPW. In Saban's offense, you don't really need a QB, especially at Bama. They'll have Coffee, Ingram, and Trent Richardson in the backfield next year behind three returning starters on the offensive line. They didn't have any trouble doing well this year with an almost non existant QB, so I doubt they'll see a significant dip next year.
