Monroe is also from North Shore.

LSU has a grad assistant pitching in to recruit Zach and he is a North Shore alum as well.

Texas will be the team to beat here, as they’re going all out for him after whiffing on RBs in 2019.

We have a lot established in north shore but with the depth LSU have at RB going into next year it will be extremely hard to pull him.
Especially when both texas schools can basically guarantee him play time.

I was told by an old friend at his school that jimbo and herman and their staffs are relentless on him. Its likely a battle between those 2 with us at 3 currently

Hopefully they're both bug the shite out of him so much that he wants to leave the state...LSU is nearby, anyway.

No doubt. Curry, Emery and Davis will only be in their sophomore season. I highly doubt he would come in and take a redshirt.

Would he have to?

We made Ford, Ware, Hill, Hilliard and Blue work in 2012.

Blue had the least amount of carries with 40.

It's very comparable to the LF7 recruiting process.

This kid is gonna have every major program in the country on him hard. Watch Bama. Go for him with our ties but dont neglect the Clayton kid, who Bama offered yesterday, Milton or other RBs chasing him. We need 2 i believe. Provens, Curry could be in the block depending on how the top 3 work out.

Trust me when I say that LSU is very much in the mix for Zach even though the Texas schools are throwing the kitchen sinks at him.

But looking long term:

I feel very confident that LSU ends up with at least one of these kids:

Zach Evans (2020) - top RB in the nation
Shadrach Banks (2021) - top ATH in the nation in his class
Dematrius Davis (2021) - National Offensive MVP in his class as QB (offered today!)

These kids led North Shore to a 6A D1 Texas state title this year and MaxPreps National Championship. And they all have 1-2 years to get even better, faster and stronger.

Here’s to keeping the NS-LSU pipeline flowing!
