Highlights
#1 RB. #1 player LA
#2 IOL #4 player in FL
#2 LB # 12 player TX
#2 CB #1 player FL
#3 IOL. #1 player Ark
#16 OT # 6 player MS
#15 edge #2 player indiana
9/top 15 LA but lost few big fish
Lost biggest OOS fish and some enormous other oos fish. Were they ever coming? So is “lose” the right word. Its the result. The current result. First result. These days its just the beginning.
Replaced lost studs/LA guys with oos but those cats either become huge stars and great tigers like (PP7, Addai, Bowe, mason taylor, etc). Or they wuss out go home. Problably 30-40% hang around? 20-30 big contributors?
We got 2 stud OL
Several more potential big time OL
2-3 stud LBers possibly 3-4 even
Several potential WRs. No clear studs again tho
2 stud CBs with another potential 3-4 solid DB
Best RB in country and 2nd RB is potential stud
Any other year this is way solid. Focused in right areas. OL/DL/DB. Way of the world leaves it as huge disappontment on surface. Lose underwood, moore, stewart, meadows, antione, phillips , ffrench. in curent climate We will lose bigtime LA kids every year as everyone knows the secret. Its out. We will hit/miss on oos studs. Hopefully more hit than not and hopefully the right positions. DL/OL/CB/QB. Although qb becoming just a portal position it seems. Why even waste time and energy trying to sift thru 17yos and develop. Let everyone else do it. Then See what happens . Pick ur guys who have risen to the challenge.
i actually forgot it was signing day so ?????. I remember me and my Dad used to go to signing day. Was awesome back then. Lots of fun. Not sure what it is now but whatever it is at this point we cant look at this class as it stands today as anything but solid. Very good group of kids at yhe most important positions
Geaux Tigers.
