FYI, I was at his game.....123 yards, 23 carries, 2 TD's, a third 50 yard "amazing" run, called back. Loganville fans all commenting on how good Storm is. 3 kick offs caught at 1 yard line returned to the 50. He put on a show.
The kid is a stud from I have seen...the bottom line is, LSU is trying to land slightly bigger fish...Like Lache!
Ware came out of nowhere, so it seems, I thought we had Storm wrapped up, he is sent home to be "quiet" and then about 2 weeks later we get Ware? (he is not told to keep his committment quiet>
that tells me that the LSU staff simply wanted Ware over Storm, and wanted to see if they could do it....they continue to hold a spot for Lache...if Lache goes somewhere else, then maybe we still get storm
...but it looks like Storm and his folks have figured that out and are probably scorn by it..The kid really likes LSU!

Whoever titled that video is a piece of trash.
There is no reason to ever do something like that to a child--and yes, that young man is still a child.
How would you like it if someone posted a video like that about your son--a video that not only focused only on your child's deficiencies, but make a disparaging remark about him in the title?
That video could have just been posted without the idiotic comment--and then let the viewers take from it what they want.
I swear--there are some weird people out there who really cross the line whenever they get a chance.

Athlete of the Week
By Danny Daniels
The Walton Tribune
Published September 2, 2009
ATHENS — Buford High School transfer Storm Johnson began his Loganville career as one of the most hyped athletes in school history.
With seemingly every Division I college in pursuit of his services, the newest Red Devil went into Clarke Central’s Death Valley as a marked man. Even as the Gladiator student section chanted “over-rated, over-rated” in Johnson’s vicinity following a 20-15 loss, those who know the game came away knowing this runner will leave his mark in Loganville annals by the end of the season.
Johnson returned the opening kickoff 24 yards and then sped 25 yards for a touchdown on his first play from scrimmage. Later in the contest, the senior dove two yards for another score. He finished his debut with 109 rushing yards on 23 carries and solidified his place among the likes of past Loganville threats such as Garett Vaughn, Zach West and Mykel Wyyet as a talented performer.
For his efforts, Johnson is this year’s first Athlete of the Week.
“Storm can easily turn a 10-yard gain into a 60-yarder,” coach Eric Godfree said of his new tailback.
Speed is obviously Johnson’s main strength, though he had a tendency to back into a couple of off-tackle runs against Clarke.
Over-rated? No. Have we seen his best? Not by a long shot.

Storm is immature. I think Miles sees that. The kid needs to grow up.

You are absolutely correct. Kid turned 17 when he was in Baton Rouge to give Coach Miles his committment, that was turned down or whatever happened. Isn't college where boys become men? LSU is missing out on a great talent.

He ran for 25 on his first carry, and then he averaged 3.8 yards/carry on the next 22 carries. As a senior in high school, that's decent for an average kid. No, it doesn't seem like many other top players out there, though.
I hope you are right that we haven't seen his best. Because if that is, then he may not get offered by many of the remaining schools who has been planning on getting an offer from.

Again, right. I follow Storm so I saw the game. His team had over 175 yards in penalties. He had several runs that didn't count because of the penalties including an amazing 50 yarder to a TD.

LSU blew him off.........and made a fool of him in regards to his committment. he will be another Christian Michael. wanted to come to LSU but we held out for Seastrunk and Trent Richardson...

LSU chose Ware over Storm.

This will just be a chapter in his life story.

I live in the adjoining Atlanta suburb to his high school and locally there's not much talk about him anymore. My daughter's high school South Gwinnett shut him down in a controlled scrimmage two weeks ago and his team lost their regular season game last night. Is LSU still interested in him and if not, why not?
I went to Buford. Where year in and year out there is D1 talent on the O-Line to run behind. Storm got mad that he had to share carries last year with a senior that signed with the Air Force Academy so he left.
I talked to some of the guys that played with him and they all say the same thing. Storm tip toes to holes instead of hitting them.
FWIW a red flag should go up if Georgia and Georgia Tech arent interested in a kid.

Not a credible source. Have you ever been to walton county? There are two high schools. Being named athlete of the week there is like winning Bronze at the special Olympics.

Shame you missed game. He ran thru holes like tank, ran over players, carried players, scored second TD by pushing the defensive line into the end zone....I know the story as to why he left, had nothing to do with shared carries, Buford always ran two backs from the time he arrived in Buford..

Last night, Loganville vs Salem, Storm Johnson 4 TD's, 223 yrads, opposing Coach Estes said, amazing talent.
