LA recruits have always been a lil underrated imo due to lack of camps/coaching/exposure compared to FL, TX, CA, GA recruits. Since Covid though, the ratings system became even more polarizing. You can’t tell me that a guy like Quency Wiggins is not a 5 star DE or that Zalance Heard is not a top 3 OT.

As I told you guys. Raylen Wilson committed to Georgia today with Boyles joining him this week. That’s why Weeks couldn’t go to Georgia. It was uncommitable offer
Only good if they didn’t get the big fish.
That’s the truth guys.
Thank goodness we got Perkins

In all fairness, we hear UL & LA Tech fans brag about beating out recruits they get who were "offered" by LSU. Realistically, the "offer" the kid had was conditional & I would bet the farm the same is the case with Weeks.

You should feel the opposite of whatever machomoron says. The air in Many has warped his brain and he is now incapable of presenting anything coherent or accurate.

We’ve had some exceptional assistant coaches (DBs, WRs, etc) who have gone after “their” type player and we’ve had fantastic results. Let’s hope this staff does the same.

Covid could've very well played a part in some missed evals but not all or a majority. Nothings really different from the past. These sites send folks to the bigger events with occasional team writers going on the road in their area as well. The problem is that the business has very little new blood to keep the scouting running efficiently. The same guys that have been around since Rivals started are still around with additions not really raising the bar any. The sites need new eyes on the trail and some without the biases the old guard has(in terms of schools and type of prospect they prefer). Lucky starts, builds and sells. Then does it again and again. He knows each particular site has a shelf life of competence and moves on slightly ahead of the end of the run. Rivals and 247 are barely competent if at all at this point. On3 will be the bar until Lucky decides to bail and build another one or someone decides to push the standard and get ahead of him this time. Missed evals will always be there. Too many kids, not enough interested eyes. They are too busy watching the same kids they've seen a dozen times as has been the case for years. It is about clicks and the known kids bring those. The Manning slobberfest showed that.
