You don't just take someone you decided not to recruit bc you lost somebody at the same position.
DE just has to become another huge priority in the portal. There will have to be Millions spent this portal season in order for BK to rebuild this roster and save his job.

As of late October, we were still recruiting Sterling and have been for some time. He always seemed like the fallback option.

A college strength, conditioning and nutrition program will do wonders for a kid like him. Could easily put 30+ lbs onto his frame.

Wouldn’t use him as a comp. Completely different positions, completely different players.
on3 has Sterling listed at 235 lbs now, so physically he’s a lot closer to K’Lavon Chaisson coming out of high school than Perk (Chaisson was 220).
