Rantards have a high sense of insecurity where Bama is concerned thanks to the 70s-90s period.
Now that their ex-girlfriend is at Bama they can't stop pining for her and are feeling more inadequate and insecure about the sizes - hence all the angst and anger against the program/coaches/players.

Dead on. This is one of the best synopses I have read regarding that segment of our fan base.
Seriously, they need to get out of bed, stop looking at those old pictures and weeping, stop calling and hanging up when she picks up, and get in the game.
