Shreveport and LSU
Shreveport can hardly be considered in the state anyway. It's a hell hole. Have you seen Bayou Billionaires? Enough said...
If you buy into the "the kids don't come because of our fans" theory...... well, there you go. On a serious note, over the years I've seen a tremendous amount of negativity about north Louisiana in general and how that part of the state doesn't contribute much.

I see a lot more LSU swag in shreveport than any other school. I don't get how people make these assumptions.
lived in shreveport for 18 years....shreveport is def an LSU town...more southern louisiana folks just think they are more coonass then us thus making them more louisiana....im half and half...dad from south, mom from north, was raised in both...

The issue isn't losing a kid that seems to play unmotivated, rather the fact that after having the type of season our team just completed, we shouldn't even be offering kids like this or at the ver least, turning them away.

sometimes kids go to a particular school because that school promises the kid he can play the position he wants to coming in.
Lsu on the other hand may want the athlete to come in and maybe switch to another position depending on where LSU has needs.
Its not always cut and dry, sometimes its about the depth chart, the number of underclassmen competing for playing time, the position the athlete wants to play, and sometimes its just good old fashioned arse kissing by a schools recruiting staff.

Reggie Robinson is another Shreveport kid (Fair Park with Stromile Swift) that came to LSU.

Not a big fight at all. Jacob was LSU all the way but his brother kept the Texas talk alive not Jacob. Jacob knew where he was going from day 1.
