I really liked Hubbard and Khairi Fortt, but both teams are LOADED at Linebacker. Do you think either can crack the depth chart early on, or will they be Craig Stelz-esque where they will play spot duty until their Sr year?
(That's why I was wondering why De Priest and Thomas were so high on Bama this year.)

As for Fortt, PSU has some LBs, but he has as good of a chance as any at PSU to start. What I would like to see is him redshirt this year and hit the weight room hard. As RSFr I see him being a backup and STer. Then his So season cracking the starting lineup and being a 3 year starter.

Great question. Close one to call IMO. I like the depth at both positions, but I think there are more 'can't miss' guys at WR. Who the hell knows?

I think that all comes down to what you value in a player.
I like Hubbard because of his tremendous upside and that I think he will be a big time NFL prospect in 4 or 5 years, even if it takes him a couple years to see the field. Others will value guys that will be immediate contributors more.

Same here.

This year there seems to be a lot of depth at both RB and WR, but this year there seems to be more WR's rated higher. I think this year is also missing that "can't miss" RB like A. Peterson or Trent Richardson.

While we hurry up and wait for the next pick, I figured I would try to establish a criteria for how we determine who wins and more importantly LOSES!
I think it has to be something like the team with the most guys that make All Conf and All American teams. That is pretty well defined and measurable. Like for instance, you get 1 pt for making 2nd team All Conference, 2 pts for 1st team All Conference, 3 pts for 2nd team All American and 5 for first team. Something like that. I don't know. Make the pick already.

Lynx,
I think you should start another thread offering advice for the posters who wont know jack shite after the top 250 are gone. I, for one, would be grateful.

What about points for being drafted and round drafted or are we staying strictly college?

Personally, I think it is hard enough projecting HS to NCAA, much less NFL. I vote college success only.

How about we start picking 2 picks at a time

this sounds like a great idea starting round 5 we should do this
Also all in favor of skipping Enfuego?
Posted on 3/4/10 at 6:34 pm to OUandLSUfan
enfuego has been on the clock since 12:30. The OP says 12 hours, so he's got another good 6 hours to make his pick, if we're being fair.
though, he has been the slowest picker to date. if it comes down to it, i'll give him a kicker as a penalty...

Dan what you think about picking 2 picks at a time. All others input is welcome to.

Personally, I don't think it's fair. I've probably got contact info of half the posters now so that I can email or text when their pick comes up. That should help expedite things somewhat.
