In a dream world we would offer Gary Patterson from TCU to be the DC for LSU if/when Chavis leaves. I realize he has a strong team right now, but they are not as consistent as LSU has been over the past 12 years.
He wouldn't leave but to move to the SEC and have all that talent, if would a slight temptation, maybe.
Like I said in a dream world...

Sources say that Brick Haley is not leaving. I don't know if that is good or bad.
He may still jump with Chavis but after Chavis left it said Haley was staying.
Thoughts?

Nick Saban loses his offensive coordinator each year and he still gets elite recruits. Point is, I don't want anyone who doesn't want to be apart of LSU. To be honest with the exception of 2011, the defense has greatly underachieve and seem to never stop a good team from scoring in the last two minutes. We have had too much defensive talent not to be on top like Bama. Lastly, I thought players played for the head coach, not the asst.
