A good coach can only get you so far if the players arent preforming or if the players arent doing what they are supposed to.

Ever thought that maybe the players underperformed and screwed up because THE COACHES ARE THE ONES THAT TAUGHT THEM?

it's pointless to intercede logic in this thread man.

this kid wanted lee to start all year, and now he wants garrett to start.

notice a trend?

In 07 Crowton coached the most prolific offense in L.S.U. history.

You dont want to throw the freshman in when he is not ready, Lee having to play that early just about destroyed his career. A freshman should not start playing before he is ready Lee wasnt ready and Hatch should have been the starter. Just my opinion

Well of course it is but as mentioned before when you are a red shirt you are not focusing on your own playbook. You want to ease a freshman in there not just throw him the entire playbook at once. They handled the Lee situation very poorly. The should have gradually opened the playbook to Lee like they did with Jefferson

Absolutely, but I think this years problems are on the players. They never gelled together and there was no team leader. O-Line was inconsistent, RB play was inconsistent, WR's dropped multiple balls, QB play was inconsistent. The offensive problems are on the players. Im not saying coaches dont make mistakes because running Trindon to the short side is just stupid, and waiting 20 seconds to call a TO with the game on the line is beyond stupid. I just think this years problems are more on the players than coaches. If Crowton is staying, he is going to have to make adjustments because other coaches have figured him out.
