Weve all been scarred for life from that Joe McNight fiasco. I will be honest that puts me on pins and needles just hearing rumors of this foolish. Especially because he is so low key and quiet about his recruitment.

What gets me is that I went to the Hoover game when John Curtis came to town cause I wanted to see the nationally ranked Hoover get it handed to them by a Louisiana school.
After the game I went onto the field and shook Joe's hand and said I hope you choose LSU and geaux tigers. He said probably, we'll see with a lil smile on his face.

I think the Texas fans are kinda pissed about it too. And let's face it, Texas generally gets the cream of the crop from their state every year. They may lose some big recruits, but they also have many more than Louisiana. They got Garrett Gilbert, we got Shep. They got a 5 star. We got a 5 star. That helps to alleviate the pain of losing Shep.

With our WR depth chart I personally think it will be worst than losing JM. I mean we had K Willy , Rich Murphy, and C Scott to look forward to. Is this case Bryd Grads and Leaves us with Lafell and Tolliver. Thats if Lafell doesnt go early. ( i dont think he will.) Taylor will step up but We are hurtin at that position. Ricky Dixon is our hope for the furture?

Chris Tolliver was a BIG recruit just last year. Shep can play WR. Deangelo Peterson.Drayton Calhoun. Perhaps Benton will make it in. We will get Bell this class.
I want Randle because he will be great. But, LSU is not devoid of receiver options

Guys if we lose Randle this year -- we would have never had a chance at him any other year. This is the best year for us to get him.
We are coming off a Nat Championship, we have possibly the best recruiting class in school history in the making. One of his best friends is going to enroll at LSU and be in the same class as him (Deangelo Benton). The wide receivers in recent years from LSU have been in the 1st round draft picks. Also our main competition (Miami) is not even on the same playing field right now.
I would hate to lose him but we know Miles & co are recruiting their arse off. I def think Randle will be a TIGER but if not he would have never been a tiger.
