It depends. If money was the issue, then Pickett would've already committed to Oregon. I think Pickett genuinely wants to play for Corey and wants to write his chapter of DBU. The money will obviously need to be good enough, but I don't think this one is a straight up bidding war.

With the Underwood situation, there was an immense amount of home state pressure regarding the "Michigan Man" coupled with better money. That's not necessarily the case with Pickett.

I 100% agree. I’ve personally never seen anything like this.
-Guy makes multiple Visits despite being very far away
- Always saying/doing the right stuff that benefitted our program
- Had multiple custom made shirts with him, Joe and Jayden on them, LSU chains and necklaces, custom LSU jerseys he paid for out of pocket.
-Guy plays under Ryan Clark’s 7v7 team in Louisiana.
I just don’t understand this shite anymore. Kid is practically our saving Grace the past 1.5 years and he doesn’t even thank the coaches or people that recruited/ spent $ on his family down here? Usually a kid will make a statement but this was just like damn. Very very weird and unpredictable from BU. But hey, this goes to show that you should never be focused on recruiting. At least I am done with it for awhile lol.
