Ok, help us out...you have had the Boom and The Beans thread going on....the last couple of days....getting our hopes up...
Best I can tell by tonight news is Boone is probably coming and that is it..
you said multiple players...so are you sticking by your boom little birdie info?
I am discouraged to hear Copeland is likely not flipping so...whatcha got bro, whatcha got...?

We look good at the wr position. One dt wants to switch but wanted to sit down with the family first. Another dt is very questionable. Screw it. Boone is a lock, Copeland loves LSU just wants a couple days to think about it. That was the words from his mouth 2 days ago. This is second hand info but it comes from someone close to the situation that spoke with all that are spoken of. "Boone wanted to commit but he wants to do it with his people around." Actually paraphrased. Jackson seems very iffy or at least seemed that way to this guy.

Well Boone and Copeland would have been Boom material, but it appears that his talk back home has him staying put with UT...
So that leaves us the Boone as our final big fish for the class...with 2 more spots available
Hope the hat can pull a bunny out...

switch from lsu or to lsu?

i'd rather just leave taht spot open. with some attrition after next season we can load up with LA's deep class next year and bring in an ELITE class for '11.

I was told Boone is a sure thing. I was also told Copeland was likely though. Makes me wonder about the talk with his coach. It really bothers me how some of these HS coaches push their personal agendas. Hunters' coach i feel was a big reason behind his decision.

no worries. you posted what you heard. 18 year old kids can burn you some times.

You never know with Copeland... might just trying to get people to leave him alone... but looks like he'll stick with Tenn.

nah, I was just trying to be clear. I wouldn't be surprised if Blackmon switched if he does indeed pass. Sucks, but true

Makes me wonder the level of respect out of state high school coaches have for Les Miles. Seems a lot of them are discouraging their decisions.

You don't always have to think the absolute worst. I think its more about the personal ties they might have with others. See that Boones' two track coaches are LSU. He even referenced them recently as playing a role in bringing LSU to light.

We signed his teammate Worle. I don't think his coach had anything to do with it.

or maybe their discussion was more character-centered and revolved around the player sticking to his original commitment.
I don't know why society has moved toward a default assumption of the negative in so many situations...probably watching too much reality tv

Again, more fail!! They had plenty of time to talk about that on the freaken trip down to LSU.Sticking to committment would mean no visit, and waste of LSU money,my friend. No moral plane here.

Seriously, why couldn't you have just done that last night?

That thread was taken down. The person i talked to reads this site and at that time wanted the shackles on a manbeast. I broke free of my chains and RRRRRRHHHH. Also the few people i have spoke with read this site.
