How did he lie to his parents?
Posted on 1/8/12 at 1:19 pm to ZTiger87
Her going to bama makes it MUCH easier for him to leave La and everyone he knows and cares about. Especially under the present circumstances where he knows there will be tremendous backlash due to the timing and place he's choosing to go. It's a bit of a Bonnie and Clyde mentality they've had, throughout the process the way they've been gearing up for this moment with comments and pics on facebook and twitter. These kids have embraced the role of villains by over-dramatizing the situation. No way was Collins going to pass on the opportunity to announce on espn after setting all of this up on facebook and twitter. He could have easily waited until sometime after the game to announce, which is what his real parents begged him to do. Instead, he just lied to them so that he could have his moment which is why they were so pissed.

So you come up with that from an article that you can't read?
FWIW, in that article he says he could delay his decision if he needed to, but that he doesn't need to.

How the hell did you get that from that article? You might as well admit that you're just making shite up.
He told his mom weeks ago
His dad wanted him to go to Bama

There's nothing to make up. Common knowledge in this area confirmed by multiple sources including, obviously, both parents.

Interesting because my D-Town buddy, who's son played with LC,told me this would happen 2 yrs.ago.Guess you have better source?

You have your own board...use it.
We don't need Gumps here talking shite like Auburn did when they paid off CN.
Some here want to follow recruiting not go through all the post of you Gumps talking shite you know little about.

That's funny because according to this post, you said your connection said he would be a Tiger just a few months ago...

Amazing after what has transpired that these Bama assclowns have the audacity to come on this board and try to dispute what is so obvious.

what is happening at bama is a great assortment of talent is all coming together.... extremely talented kids which cause other extremely talented kids to want to join them... case in point LeBron and 2007 florida gators classes. I am not saying LSU's class doesn't have talent, b/c they always have been under miles. but in addition to the girlfriend, collins saw all these talented and "nationally ranked" people choosing Bama... i have a strange feeling that the egos of these kids will surpass their talents and this class could end up like the gator's recruting class of 2007 ... failing to meet high expectations.
tis always the risk when you put great talents together. Even Saban's ego will be no match!!

At that point he believed LSU had done enough to flip him, obviously not.Doesn't change the fact that his original prediction was correct. As far as what you believe,I could care less.

Traits such as these usually result in failure in life and are typical in elite recruits who lack mental toughness.
LC need not worry with repping the boot. He's a piece of shite traitor to me, even if he flips.
