Thats how Les described the signing class, and I have to say that I agree. Reuben Randle didn't participate in all the bull that ESPN wanted, so they didn't cover his signing worth a damn. But that was OK with RR, because he isn't about the attention.

The types like Dre Kirkpatrick and others who try to play the "irony" or "drama" game are just getting attention for themselves.

Russell Shepard gets alot of attention, but he didn't hold some big presser where he tried to hold everyone in suspense. He gets his attention because he has a magnetic personality and he's been LSU's best recruiting tool this past year.

My point is, I think this class has the potential to be special. A group of men with great character who are about the "team" more than they are about themselves.

So Jackson, Kelly, Bell, etc. can go play with whom-ever they wish. I'm happy as a clam to have these men who will represent Tiger-Nation well for years to come.

You are ultimately right. You are either a Tiger or you are Tiger Bait.

In the end, isn't that really what life is all about. Kinda sucks if you're Tigerbait though.

Good point, no great point. This is a rare class with the best players + great kids , it starts with R.S.,and Josh Downs, Lots of good leaders, in the near future, This is my favorte class , that I ever followed, in 12yr!

that clayton/hill/spears class was something special. built the foundation for the 03 title, and our ultimate resurgence as a program. they came to LSU at a time when it wasn't cool to come here.

i noticed this throughout the day even before miles mentioned it. It was just obvious when each recruit has interviewed throughout this whole process, they are all well-spoken, high character, humble kids. Les is starting something with the last couple classes.

I wouldn't trade any of our 25, bc they all want to be hear and want to be apart of this family atmosphere les is creating down here.

I also liked that Sam Montgomery was trying to recruit TR even before he announced. It wasnt about him at the time, he was trying to better the football team. There was some I would love to have that didnt sign but as it has been said....If they dont want to be here.
