On the eve of what is to be a very important commitment for LSU, who remembers Rueben Randall's announcement?
I remember thinking how important it was that LSU get him, not just for his talent, but to let other schools know the days of raiding Louisiana talent would if not come to an end, at the very least be a battle.

Too bad it became more about DeAngelo Benton and the "ultimatum" than about Randle. He came to LSU in the wrong era. In the current offense he could've been everything Justin Jefferson was during his career. He was very talented.

I remember being at an LSU Basketball game & him walking into the PMAC on his official visit. The fans started chanting - “Rue...Ben...Ran...Dall”. Big time recruit.
