Hope coach O is looking at the kid he is a junior at CY FALLS there are 10 teams in his district including the state champ. There are 50 starting OL in his district,he was voted one of the top 15. Hope he gets a look he loves LSU. And no I am not related. Just check out his Hudl he is just as impressive as the signed kids we have.

Top 15 of 50 of one district in one state.

We can find better ways to sell this kid I’m sure of it

This is a Lsu sight,go back to Georgia JR and yes I do know the family, but I love the tigers and I don’t want them to sign any kid who cannot play. I think this kid has a shot

You have really been pushing for this kid for a while now on here. If the kid shares your determination I'm sure he will get a look in somewhere.

Is this the same big kid from Texas who came to camp a few years ago as an 8th grader and caught everyone’s eye?

He is second team all district as a junior

We are looking at guys who are all state as a junior

Perhaps he may need to consider JUCO to develop strength and technique

A shot at what? His district size doesn't matter. If he's not even 1st team in his district, and not already all state, he has little to no shot at a big 5 offer unless he blows up on the camp circuit this summer..has he been to an LSU camp? If he doesn't attend, he will not be on their radar...

Unless he's a long snapper freak! We have an affinity for those.

He has been to the Lsu camp twice. I don’t know if he could play at Lsu but instead of looking at these clowns ,like the one from West Virginia who lasted two days I would rather give a kid a good look and loves Lsu a chance to show what he can do at the camps

He’s camped twice without the staff taking another step.

I know you have strong personal feelings, but if the kid was LSU level talent, they would’ve seen it. It’s why they are paid millions.

Not flaming but you need to try and be honest with yourself. Also, understand that the talent higher level SEC schools pull is not top 15 of one district but top 15 statewide. Texas or not.

ETA: I saw the Hudl profile. Sorry bro. He’s not SEC caliber. I’m sure he’s a great young man and that’s awesome but big time ball is a business.
If his grades are stellar MAYBE Rice but I truly don’t see that either. The Woodlands had a tackle this year sign with SMU and he has far better credentials. You may be looking at SHSU or similar....that’s still something to be proud of.

He has been to the Lsu camp twice.

Great. So the coaches will see him if he's good. You started a thread making it seem as though LSU needed to be alerted of his ability....but they've already seen him twice, and if he shows out this summer, they will watch him thru his senior season

Deculus probably knows the kid! Same district, but Austin’s former team actually won the state title this year!
